How to check your invitation proof on a phone
Review names, readability, maps, motion and the RSVP journey on mobile before approving and sharing your digital invitation.

Most guests will open an invitation on the device already in their hand. Review your proof on a real phone as well as a computer, and read it as someone who knows nothing about the event. The aim is simple: guests should understand where to go, when to arrive and how to reply.
Begin with the opening screen
Open the proof in the browser you normally use. Check that the invitation is recognizable while it loads and that the opening control is easy to find. If there is music, confirm how a guest starts or pauses it. Browsers can block automatic sound, so silence on first opening does not necessarily mean the invitation is broken.
Read the essential details without zooming
Are the names, date and event time readable?
Can you distinguish arrival time from the ceremony or party start?
Does a long venue name wrap cleanly?
Is the reply deadline easy to find?
Can a guest move through the invitation without sideways page scrolling?
Use your phone at its usual text size first, then try a larger text setting if you or your guests use one. Check portrait and landscape when practical. If something looks wrong, report the device, browser and the specific screen to the studio, with a screenshot that excludes private guest links.
Check directions and supporting links
Tap the venue link and verify the actual destination, not just the displayed label. A correct venue name can still point to the wrong entrance or a similarly named location. Check any accommodation or registry links that were agreed as part of your invitation.
Review the reply journey
Use the public demo or an agreed test household when trying a sample response. Do not submit a real guest’s response merely to test the screen. Confirm that the names and seat allocation match the intended household, that accepting and declining are understandable, and that you know where responses will appear.
Review long names and any optional questions that apply to the chosen design. If a guest needs help or cannot use the invitation, decide who will receive their reply through another channel and update the agreed guest list.
Check comfort as well as appearance
Try the invitation with your device’s reduced-motion preference if you use it. Confirm that essential details remain available without relying on animation or sound. Open it on a mobile connection too; avoid judging loading only on a fast desktop connection.
Send one clear review to the studio
Group spelling corrections, event-detail changes and display issues into a single review. Include the screen and action that caused a problem rather than simply saying that the phone version looks different. Recheck the revised proof, then approve publication when the information and guest journey are right.
